Soccer balls for Ramata Island in the Solomons
Margaret Robinson has taken soccer balls to the Solomon Islands before and she has gone on another trip. Of course we were happy to give her as many soccer balls as she could carry. So Margaret has taken another 25 soccer balls and 25 of my books for the kids on the island.
Ramata Island is only about 4 km long and only 500 metres wide. The island is part of a chain of islands around Marovo Lagoon, the longest island fringed lagoon in the world. Margaret says it’s really beautiful.
Thanks again Margaret for helping out the kids with soccer balls. I’m sure they’ll have fun with them.
